SBC Indoor Pairs Championship
Our annual indoor pairs competition was held on Saturday 14 March 2026.
​
Playing partners were determined by a random draw and a series of short matches in the round-robin event ensured that all pairings got to play against all other teams.
​
Victors on the day were Garry and Charlie who finished narrowly ahead of second placed Rosemary and Melvyn.
​
The winners can look forward to seeing their names added to the honours boards in our clubhouse.

Ladies short mat singles winner Helena, and gents winner Neil pose together (outside) after their play off match to determine the indoor club champion for the 2025/26 season.

It was Neil who was the victor after the 16 end final with some fine play by both participants.
SBC Ladies Short Mat Singles Championship 2025/26
Our ladies indoor singles competition, held on 21 February 2026 was won by Helena. Many congratulations to her.
​
It was a close fought competition with four participants finishing on equal points. Shots for and against in the round robin competition gave Helena a narrow victory over second place Lizanne.
SBC Gents Short Mat Singles Championship 2025/26
On 6 December 2025 our gentleman's short mat singles competition was decided, with Neil taking the victory over second place Garry.
